Home Care Aide

Service Area: Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, Encinitas

Full-time / Part-time

Provide steady, compassionate support for clients and help make daily life safer and calmer. Ideal for professionals who communicate respectfully and work well with clients, families, and care teams.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable attendance and professional communication
  • Ability to follow care plans and document care activity as required

Preferred:

  • Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
  • Prior caregiving or dementia-care experience

A Note on Home Care Aide Roles

HCA Registration & Training

Having an active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration is a plus and can streamline onboarding. If you’re not registered yet, you can still apply—qualified candidates may be guided through the steps and required training before working directly with clients.

Role Overview

Caregiver Responsibilities (Non-Medical)

Care Partners support daily living and comfort at home. Duties may include personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting), medication reminders, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship and activities, and transportation for errands and appointments.
